Formal Sorority Recruitment only occurs in the fall semester, right after school begins. It is the best opportunity to see every chapter with other women going through the recruitment process.
How can I register for Formal Recruitment?
Fall 2014 Formal Recruitment will be held Friday, Sept. 5 through Sunday, Sept. 7 with a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 4 and Bid Day on Monday, Sept. 8.
Letters of Recommendation
Please attempt to have at least one letter of recommendation from friends or family for each chapter.

What to Expect During Recruitment
Open House Night
This night allows you to get a glance at each sorority hall and meet the members.
It is also designed to inform you about each sorority and available service opportunities. Each sorority will tell you about its individual philanthropy and may invite you to help with the service project.
Just be yourself, relax, and smile!
What to wear: Sun dress, skirt, dressy pants, nice top.
During Theme night, each sorority will present a skit as well as songs. During this time, you will be able to get to know the members better and learn more about the sorority.
What to wear: Nice jeans, pants or skirt, nice top.
Sisterhood Night is filled with candlelight and songs and provides an entirely different look at the special bonds within the sororities. This night is extremely serious. Preference is focused on each sorority’s expression of fraternal ideals and sisterly values. By this night you should have an idea of which sorority you may want to join.
What to wear: Dressiest night of Recruitment; dress as if for a wedding or wear Sunday clothes.
This is the conclusion of Recruitment. You may receive an invitation to pledge a sorority. Bid day is a fun, entertaining time for new members and sorority sisters.
