There is no graduate major in art; however, the College of Education offers the M.Ed. degree in P–12 education with a concentration in art that leads to the Alabama Class A P–12 certificate. The College of Education also offers the Alternative Fifth Year Program (master’s degree plus certification in P–12 art education). For further information, see the appropriate section under the College of Education. The following courses may be used to fulfill the subject matter and methods course requirements.
