Kami Kapaku will compete in her first season with the Lady Falcons. She will compete for playing time as a forward.

Kami is a transfer to UM from Yuba Community College in Yuba, California, where she competed for coach Jason Spain. Kami was named to the NSCAA/adidas Junior College Division III All-American Team in 2006. She led the team and was second in the state in scoring, netting 25 goals with 14 assists. Her team were Bay Valley Conference champions and advanced to the Round of 16 in the State Tournament. Kami spent her freshman campaign competing for coach Bill Stephen at the University of Oregon. There, she led the team in scoring and was named team Offensive MVP. She netted her first collegiate goal against nationally ranked Portland State University. In high school, Kami was named First Team All-State for three consecutive years, while competing at Baldwin High School. She was named Maui Player of the Year in 2004, and was named to the Region IV State ODP Players Pool Team in 2003. She has two brothers, Ron Jr., and Kellen.

A kinesiology major at UM, she is the daughter of Ron and Tanya Kapaku.
