Catherine Honey will return to the Montevallo women's soccer team for her second season of competition. She will compete for playing time at forward. Last season, Catherine appeared in 15 matches, started in 13 matches and scored the only goal of the match in a victory against Florida Tech. She also collected an assist against Christian Brothers.

Catherine competed for the Bury Football School and West Suffolk College. She and her teammates were British College Winners, Regional College Winners and won the PFA/adidas National Five-A-Side Tournament. One of her biggest accomplishments was scoring in the college national finals played at the West Bromwich Albion Premiership Club. Her club team was also Essex League 1 Champions. She has two older sisters Sarah and Claire, and a younger brother Richard.

A psychology major, she is the daughter of Rosie and John Honey.
