Emily Gibson
will join the University of Montevallo
women’s golf program this season. Gibson
placed 10th overall at the
Ontario Junior Girls Championship, sixth
overall at the Ontario Junior Masters,
and 13th overall at the
Ontario Champion of Champions
tournament. Emily competed at the
Scarboro District Championships where
she placed first overall (low net and
low gross score) this year and first
(low net) in 2006. She has won the
Junior Club championship for the past
seven years. She is also two-time
defending Ladies Club Champion while
adding the Mixed Match Play title in
2005
Emily was team MVP and captain of the
badminton team at North Toronto
Collegiate Institute.
She has two brothers Hugh and Sean. A
sociology major at UM, she is the
daughter of Linda and David Gibson. |
