Corey Turnbloom will
compete in his first season with the Montevallo Falcons. He will
compete for time on the mound. Corey is a transfer to UM from
Lureen B. Wallace Community College, where he competed for coach
Steve Helms. As a sophomore, he appeared in eight games, and
posted a 2.50 ERA in 23 innings of work. He had a season-best
eight strikeouts against Wallace-Selma.
Corey competed for coach Steve Floyd at Calera High School.
A business major at UM, he is the son of Barry and Debbie
Turnbloom.
