Joseph “Joe” Prokop will
compete in his first season with the Montevallo baseball team.
He will compete for playing time behind the plate.
Joe comes to UM from nearby Chilton County High School, where he
was the recipient of the Boys State and Valedictorian
Scholarships. He was also named to the National Honor Society,
Beta Club and Student Government Association, while competing
for coach Todd Reece. He will join high school teammate Stephen
Taylor at UM this spring.
A general studies major at UM, he is the son of Joe and Kristie
Prokop.
