Nelson Garcia
Jr. will compete in his second season
with the Falcons. He will compete for playing time in the
infield, although he may play in the outfield as well. Last
season, Nelson appeared in 32 games and started in four games.
He went 2-for-2 with a double and drove in three runs against
Miles College.
Nelson was a Second Team All-County selection and Key Scholar,
while competing for coach Bob Pagano at Walter L. Sickles High
School in Tampa, Fla. A business management major at UM, he is
the son of Nyra Velasco and Nelson Garcia Sr. |
