James “Aaron” Faust
competes in his senior season with the Montevallo baseball team.
Aaron is a transfer to UM from Jeff State Community College,
where he was a teammate of Zac Blakney, and will compete for
playing time in the infield. As a sophomore, Aaron was a First
Team All-Conference selection, batted .337 in 53 games with a
home run and 17 RBI. He was fourth on the team in base hits,
collected 18 multi-hit games and went 3-for-5 with three runs
scored in a game against Huntingdon College. He also received
his degree in general studies at JSCC.
Aaron prepped at Austin High School in Decatur, and competed for
coach Alan Watkins.
A kinesiology major at UM, he is the son of Jackie Chancellor.
