Kara
Zawisza
joins the Montevallo volleyball program
this fall. She will compete for playing
time as an outside hitter.
Kara competed for Saline High School
where she was on the varsity for four
years and named a team captain as a junior. Kara
was a First Team All-Conference
selection and
recipient of the Southeastern Conference
Sportsmanship Award her senior season.
Kara’s team qualified for the state
quarterfinals for that season. As a
junior, she was named Honorable Mention
All-Conference, Second Team All-Area and
voted team MVP and led the team in digs
and kills. Kara also competed on
Saline’s basketball team, where she was
voted a team captain her senior season.
Excelling in the classroom as well as on
the court, she is a member of the Gold
Honor Roll. Kara also competed for M
Juniors this past club season. A graphic
design major at UM, she is the daughter
of Wendy Kenyon and Steve Zawisza. |
