Joy Peschman
returns for her second season with the Lady Falcons. She will compete for playing time as a setter. After sharing the setting duties her freshman season, she will expected to provide the majority of the sets this season. She posted just under nine assists per game in 30 matches, while starting in 15 matches last season. Joy posted five double-doubles (sets and digs), collecting 40 or more set assists in eight matches, including a season-high 55 assists against Southwest Baptist. She also posted a season-best 14 digs against Missouri Western. She was also one of 11 Lady Falcons named to the Gulf South Conference Honor Roll.

Joy was named Second Team All-State, Central Region Player of the Year, varsity team MVP and team captain her senior season at Corona del Sol High School in Tempe, Ariz. She was also named Second Team All-Tribune, Tempe All-City, and Westwood All-Tournament Team. Joy also competed for the Club Red Volleyball Club, where she was named to the Dream Team by Prepvolleyball.com in May 2005.  She was also the recipient of the Outstanding Academic Achievement award for three seasons. An Education major at UM, Joy is the daughter of Joan and Todd Peschman.
