Katy Handrick
returns for her second
season of competition with the Lady
Falcons. She will compete for playing
time as an outside hitter. Katie was
third on the team in blocks per game and
fifth on the team in kills and kills per
game. She posted double figures in kills
in eight matches, including a
season-best 14 against
Alabama-Huntsville. She also posted
double figures in digs in 20 matches,
including as season-best 20 against
Ouachita Baptist. She had done well in
the classroom as well, as she was one of
11 Lady Falcons named
to the Gulf South Conference Honor Roll.
A native of De Pere, Wisconsin, Katy was
a Second Team All-Conference selection
and recipient of the Dedication Award at
De Pere High School. Handrick also
played for the Milwaukee Sting
Volleyball Club in the spring and for
the FC Elite Team for two seasons. A
Physical Therapy major at UM, Katy is
the daughter of Mary and Steve Handrick.. |
