Carson Anderson
returns for her second season with the Lady Falcons. She will compete for time as a middle hitter. Carson posted solid numbers in her freshman campaign, leading the team and finishing fifth in the conference in blocks per game. Carson collected five or more blocks in 10 matches, including a season-best 10 block assists against Spring Hill. She also had double figures in kills in eight matches, including a season-best 18 against Miles. Carson was also fourth on the team in kills and kills per game.  She was named GSC East Defensive Player of the Week, and was one of 11 Lady Falcons to be named to the GSC Honor Roll.

Carson was a two-sport athlete at Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In addition to volleyball, Anderson was a two-year letter winner and named team captain as a senior for the Baylor Crew Team. The team qualified for nationals in 2005, placing 12th as a team. Anderson also played club volleyball for the Dig to Win volleyball club, where her team recorded three first place finishes in the 2006 club season. A biology major at UM, Carson is the daughter of Patricia and Corey Anderson.
