Corey Gros returns for her third season of competition with the Lady Falcons.  Last season, Gros was rewarded for her continued hard work both on and off the field. On the pitch, she led the Gulf South Conference in saves, named to the First Team All-GSC and was twice named GSC Defender of the Week. She competed and started in all 16 matches and earned six shutout victories. Off the field, she was named to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSida Academic All-District Team, GSC All-Academic Team and the GSC Honor Roll. As a freshman, she was named to the First Team All-GSC and GSC Defender of the Week. Gros appeared in 14 matches, started  in 13 matches and posted a 6-5-2 record with 52 saves, a 1.17 GAA and four shutout victories. a 1.17 GAA with four shutout victories. 

Corey competed for coach Stu Barber at Lambrick Park Secondary School, where the team claimed the Island Cup three times, the British Columbia championship on two occasions and also won the Ryan Cup. Corey also competed for the Gorge United Premier Team, where she received the Sue Tate-Ondre Award for being the top goalkeeper in the league. Her team also posted an undefeated season.  Corey has two brothers, Dave and Kyle.

A chemistry major at UM, she is the daughter of Bob and Maureen Gros.
