Stacey Balaam returns for her third season with the Lady Falcons. She will compete for playing time in the midfield. Last season, she was named to the First Team All-Gulf South Conference, leading the team in scoring. She netted three goals and  led the team in assists for the second consecutive season with six. As a freshman, she made an immediate impact, leading the team and tied for the conference lead in assists with 11. She was named to the Second Team All-Gulf South Conference. Balaam finished second on the team in points, and collected four assists in a victory over  Christian Brothers. She was one of three players to compete and start in all 18 matches.

A native of Suffolk, England, Balaam prepped at West Suffolk College, competing for coach Mark Lawrence. There, she and her teammates were British College Winners, Regional Colleges Winners and won the PFA/adidas Five-A-Side Tournament. Stacey also competed for the Ipswich Town Club, a runner up in the National Southern Division. She has an older brother, James and a younger sister, Tina.

A kinesiology major at UM, she is the daughter of Peter and Christine Balaam.
