Lady Falcons win Berry College 7-a-side Tournament
ROME, Ga. (4/5) -- The University of Montevallo
women's soccer team won the Berry College 7-a-side
Tournament in Rome, Ga. on Saturday.
The teams played two 12-minute halves in each game.
UM earned six victories en route to the tournament
championship. The Lady Falcons then defeated Berry
College, 1-0 in the championship game on a second
half goal by Paula Radmard with an assist
from Erin Jollay. |

Lady Falcons defeat Jacksonville State in spring match
JACKSONVILLE (4/2) -- The Lady Falcons
scored three first half goals, in a 3-0 victory over Jacksonville State
University, in a spring women's soccer match in Jacksonville. Adele Jackson, Stacey Balaam and Lucrece Laverdure
scored the goals for UM. UM will next compete at a 7-a-side
tournament, hosted by Berry University in Rome, Ga.
Hughes named Assistant Athletic Director at UM
MONTEVALLO (4/1) -- Patricia Hughes, head women’s soccer coach
at the University of Montevallo, has been named assistant athletic director
at UM. In addition to her coaching duties, she will
assist the director of athletics in all facets of administration and
governance of the intercollegiate athletics program with an emphasis on
internal relations. Hughes also will coordinate UM’s on-campus support
services, including the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and Champs Life
Skills programs.

announce 2008 schedule
MONTEVALLO (3/24) -- The University
of Montevallo women's soccer team has released their 2008 fall schedule.
UM will host NCAA regional teams Saint Leo University on Sept. 14 and
Columbus State University on Oct. 8, in addition to four Gulf South
Conference matches against Delta State, UAH, North Alabama and West
Florida.

Lady Falcons earn tie
and victory at
Montevallo Spring Tournament
MONTEVALLO (3/8) -- The University
of Montevallo women's soccer team earned a tie and a victory at the UM Spring Tournament
at the Intramural Field.
UM recorded a 1-1 tie with Jacksonville State University, scoring their
goal in the second half. UM then defeated the Birmingham United Soccer
Club, 2-0, with goals scored by Erin Jollay in the first half and
Natalie Martineau in the second half.

victory over Trinidad and Tobago national team at Tiger Collegiate
Showcase
AUBURN (3/1) -- The University
of Montevallo women's soccer team posted a 1-0 victory over the Trinidad
and Tobago national team at the Tiger Collegiate Showcase in Auburn on
Saturday.
Lucrece Laverdure netted in the game-winning goal midway in the first
half. Adele Jackson took a shot that was saved by the
goalkeeper. Laverdure knocked in the rebound for the winning goal. |
