Falcons Fall in
Non-conference Action, 3-0
MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The No.
16 University of Montevallo women’s soccer team (0-1-1) fell today (Aug.
31) to Florida Tech (2-0), 3-0. The Panthers of FIT scored all three of
their goals in the second half to down the Falcons.

No. 16 Montevallo
and Mobile Play to Scoreless Tie
MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The No.
16 University of Montevallo women’s soccer team (0-0-1) hosted the
University of Mobile (1-0-1) tonight (Aug. 28) and played to a 0-0 tie.
The Falcons out-shot the visiting Lady Rams 12-6 throughout the game but
were unable to find the go-ahead goal.
Senior goalkeeper
Corey Gros
(Victoria, British Columbia) kept the Lady Rams scoreless for 110
minutes while making three saves. Senior forward
Paula Radmard
(Vestavia, Ala.) led the offense as she collected three shots with two
fired on goal. Sophomores
Kristin Rosato
(Pinson, Ala.) and
Marina Prado (Sao
Paulo, Brazil) each had two shots.

Lady Falcons at No. 16 in first NSCAA/adidas NCAA
Division II poll
MONTEVALLO (8/19) -- For the first time
in the history of the program, the University of Montevallo
women's
soccer team will begin a season ranked in the Top 25.
The Lady Falcons are No. 16 in the first NSCAA/adidas NCAA Division II
National Ranking poll
of the 2008 season, it has
been announced.
