BREEN SIGNS WITH MONTEVALLO FOR 2008-09
 

MONTEVALLO (4/28) – The University of Montevallo women's golf program has signed an individual for the 2008-09 school year.

Emma Breen, a native of Swindon England has sign a letter of intent to compete for the Lady Falcons, beginning in Fall 2008.

Breen was a two-time Wiltshire Under-18 Champion, advancing to the match play stage (Last 32) at the English Girls Championship in 2007. She is the Wiltshire U-18 Captain, was a three-time Malborough Golf Club Junior Champion and won the Hills Wilts Junior Championship on four occassions. In 2005, she was 6th overall at the Weetabix National Under-16 Championships. She received the team most Improved Award and attended New College School, competing for coach John Jacobs.

"I am very excited about Emma joining our women's golf team." head coach Jeff Palmer said. "She is a very good player and should be able to step right in and contribute from the beginning."
