William “Lee” Callaway will join the University of Montevallo men’s golf program this season. He had the opportunity to compete this past fall at the Derrall Foreman Invitational, hosted by Delta State.

Callaway was named the Birmingham’s “Magic City” 3A Player of the Year this past spring. He placed first in the Alabama Sectional Tournament, posting a round of 72. He also placed fifth overall in the Alabama State High School Tournament. He was named All-State and posted a 3.4 GPA.

Lee has a sister, Shea.

A business major at UM, he is the son of Kent and Kim Callaway.
