 DAVIS JOINS LADY FALCONS FOR 2008
 

MONTEVALLO (8/8) -- The University of Montevallo women's cross-country team will add one more student-athlete for the 2008 season, it has been announced by head coach Michael Marquardt.

Ginny Davis from Madison, will join the Lady Falcons for fall 2008.

Smith competed at Bob Jones High School, where she posted a season-best time of 11:55 in track (two miles) this past spring, along with a time of 20:20 (5K) in cross-country. She was a state qualifier in cross-country and track.

"Ginny will join our other freshmen (Katherine Schofield and Whitney Adkins) and help us compete for all-conference honors this fall." Marquardt said. "We arevery excited to have Ginny compete for us at the University of Montevallo."
