Lindsey Golay will return for her second season of competition with the University of Montevallo women's cross-country program. Last season, she recorded the best time for the team (20:42) at the 2006 Gulf South Conference Women's Cross-Country Championships, which was also her best time for the season. She competed in seven meets in 2006. She was one of two runners to compete in the 2006 NCAA Regional Meet, where she posted a time of 26:04 on the 6K course in Memphis, Tenn. Lindsey was named to the GSC Honor Roll, one of four Lady Falcons to be honored.

Lindsey was a state qualifier in cross-country for three years, MVP of the track team for four years, and a county champion for four years, while competing for coach Charles Daley at Northgate High School.
She has a sister Shaina Dobosh, and a brother, Trenton Golay.

A general studies major at UM, she is the daughter of Stephen and Vicki Golay.
