Ezell named new head women's basketball coach
at UM
MONTEVALLO (4/29) – Brittney
Ezell has been named the new head women’s basketball coach at the
University of Montevallo it was announced Tuesday by Falcons athletic
director Jim Herlihy.
Ezell comes to Montevallo after
three years as the head coach at Okaloosa-Walton College in Niceville, Fla.
She previously spent five years as the recruiting coordinator at the
University of Alabama. more

WBB skills camp and play dates cancelled
MONTEVALLO (5/6) -- The
skills camp and play dates to be hosted by the University of Montevallo
women's basketball program for this summer has been cancelled. The play
dates were scheduled for June 11, 19 and 24, while the team camp was
scheduled for June 16-18.
Seigenthaler named to GSC Honor Roll
BIRMINGHAM (4/7) -- Freshman
guard Kristen Seigenthaler has been named to the 2007-08 Gulf
South Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll for women's basketball, it
has been announced.
The 5-11 native of Murfreesboro, Tenn. was one of 76 student-athletes
among the GSC schools
named to the Honor Roll. Qualification for this award is based
overall GPA and nomination. Siegenthaler is majoring in kinesiology at
UM.
Jones named GSC East Freshman of the Year
Hendricks and Graham named Second Team All-GSC
SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (3/4) -- Freshman
forward Shan Jones has been selected the 2008 Gulf South
Conference East Division Freshman of the Year, while senior guard
Jennifer Hendricks and junior guard Jamie Graham have been
named to the Second Team All-Gulf South Conference, it has been
announced. more |
