Montevallo basketball presents Danny Young
Basketball Camp
MONTEVALLO (4/14) -- University of
Montevallo men's basketball coach Danny
Young will hold the fourth annual Danny
Young Basketball Camp from June 23 to
June 25 at
the People's Bank and Trust Arena and
McChesney Student Activity Center on the UM
campus.
The camp will be held from
8:30 a.m. to
12:30 p.m. each day. The cost of the camp will be $
75.00 per camper.

Lovell named to GSC Honor Roll
BIRMINGHAM (4/7) -- Freshman
forward Alex Lovell has been named to the 2007-08 Gulf
South Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll for men's basketball, it
has been announced.
The 6-7 native of Gardendale was one of 45 student-athletes
among the GSC schools named to the Honor Roll. Qualification for this award is based
overall GPA and nomination. Lovell is majoring in kinesiology at
UM.
Arkansas Monticello defeats Montevallo at Gulf
South Conference Tournament
SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (3/5) --- The Falcons overcame a 13-point second half
deficit, but at the end, came up on the short end of a 63-61 decision to the
University of Arkansas-Monticello, in the opening round of the 2008 Gulf
South Conference Men's Basketball Tournament at the DeSoto Civic Center in
Southaven, Miss. Wednesday night.
Terrill Humphrey scored a game-high 30 points, and was a perfect
13-for-13 from the free throw line. Eric Turner also scored in double
figures, finishing with 11 points.

Humphrey named First Team All-Gulf South Conference
SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (3/4) -- Junior guard Terrill Humphrey has been
named to the First Team All-Gulf South
Conference, it has been announced.
