Terrill Humphrey joins the Montevallo basketball team this season. He will compete for playing time as a guard. Terrill brings championship experience from the junior college ranks with him as he was part of a Santa Fe Community Collge team that won the Mid-Florida Conference Championship. He averaged 15.7 points per game and was second in the state in free throw percentage and 12th in the state in 3-point field goal percentage. He was named First Team All-State, First Team All-Conference and JUCO Player of the Week three times. Terrill competed his freshman season at St. John’s School in Palatica, Fla, where he competed for coach Horace Jefferson. He was a First Team All-Conference and Freshman Player of the Year, averaging 21 points and three assists per game.

Terrll was an All-State and All-County selection while competing for coach Stephen Melgard at Pedro Menendez High School in St. Augustine, Fla. A four-year starter, Terrill averaged 27.8 points and 4.2 assists per game his senior year.

He has a sister Tekesha Williams, and Anthony Williams. A kinesiology major at UM, he is the son of Tisha Humphrey.
