DeSean Gist
competes in his first season with the
Falcons. He will compete for playing
time as a guard. DeSean competed his
sophomore season at Odessa Community
College in Texas, where he shot over 50
percent from the field and averaged 5.7
points, 2.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists and
3.2 steal per game. DeSean spent his
freshman season at Suffolk County
Community College, where he was part of
a team that finished fourth overall in
the NJCAA National Tournament. He
averaged 14.3 points, 8.2 assists and
8.6 rebounds. He was named NJCAA Region
XV MVP and named the All-Tournament
Team.
DeSean prepped at Bishop Loughlin School
in Brooklyn, NY, where he competed for
coach Khalid Green.
He has a sister, Tionne and a brother,
Terrell. A business
management major at UM, he is the son of
Sandra Gist and Sean Tucker. |
