Jason Sheehan
will have the opportunity to compete in his second and final
season with the Montevallo baseball program this spring. Jason
will compete for time on the mound. He returns to the team after
a one-year hiatus, last competing for the Falcons in 2006. That
season, Jason appeared in 14 games, starting in eight games and
posting a 4-2 record. He tossed five scoreless innings with four
strikeouts against Martin Methodist College.
Jason is a transfer to UM from Jeff State Community College
where he played for coach David Russo. He posted a 2.63 ERA in
65 innings of work as a sophomore.
Jason attended nearby Pelham High School, where he played for
coach Mike O’Berry.
A kinesiology major at UM, he is the son of Richard and Suzanne
Sheehan. |
