Professional Biography Ken Procter earned his Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 1981, joined the University of Montevallo art faculty that same year, and now serves as Dean of the College of Fine Arts. Procter’s work has appeared in over 90 solo, invitational, group, and juried exhibitions, including museum shows in Huntsville and Montgomery, and has earned several awards including an Alabama Artist Fellowship. He is represented by Amanda Schedler Fine Art in Birmingham, Trinity Gallery in Atlanta, Coleman Schedler Fine Art in Connecticut, and is included in numerous public and private collections. He has written for American Artist, and is a regular contributing editor to Drawing magazine. |
