What is SAAM?

SAAM, the Student Alumni Association of Montevallo, is an organization open to all current students.

SAAM is sponsored by the University of Montevallo National Alumni Association.

• Build and develop the future of the University of Montevallo community, including the National Alumni Association and its students—past, present and future.
• Increase student awareness and involvement in the Alumni Association before and after graduation.
• Bridge the gap between students and alumni and to increase interaction between the two. 
• Aid the University through projects, participation, involvement, fundraising, friend-raising and commitment.
• Act as a support group of the Alumni Association of the University of Montevallo.
• Provide career networking opportunities and contacts for students.
• Provide leadership and activities to foster growth of the Student Alumni Association members.
