Scholarships honoring three sisters, Billie Sims Giles ’34,  Augusta Sims Lovelady ’47, and the late Louise Sims Hammett ’53, were established by their families in 2006.  A  luncheon in Anna Irvin Hall celebrated the legacy of education for women that was a tradition in the Sims’ home.
