The CSD Department does not currently award any undergraduate scholarships.
First year graduate students will be considered for the Fetterolf Scholarship. Each fall, faculty will nominate students based on academic ability, clinical ability, and character. The recipient will be selected by faculty/staff vote and will receive a monetary award (typically a modest stipend to cover expenses such as textbooks) during the subsequent spring and fall terms.
Each year, an academic scholarship is awarded to the highest ranking University of Montevallo student applying for the CSD graduate program. Contingent upon funding, this award covers full tuition for all 5 semesters of the M.S. degree. Students do not apply for this award; the applicant with the highest overall ranking, using all admission criteria, will be informed by the Department Chair and the Graduate Program Coordinator, annually, during the admissions process.
The CSD Department typically offers 1-2 graduate assistantships each year. Currently enrolled graduate students will be notified of the opportunity to apply for these positions.
