Music Majors

We are fortunate to have substantial scholarship funding available to assist music majors with their college expenses. All music scholarships are talent-based and are awarded by audition. Prospective high school students should audition for acceptance into Music in their senior year, preferably during one of the scholarship audition dates in the spring so that you may be considered for a music scholarship.

Audition dates and details are posted on our auditions page. Scholarship amounts vary, and most scholarships are renewable. Music scholarships may be combined with academic scholarships, so long as the total award does not exceed the cost of attending the University.

In addition, talented non-majors are encouraged to join our instrumental ensembles and may audition for band scholarships.  See our auditions page for more information.
