Get set to Take Flight this fall as we welcome the Class of 2012!   It's your chance to get acclimated to Montevallo, meet your fellow incoming classmates, as well as current UM students; and best of all it's your chance to win a 32inch flat screen television, an X Box 360, or gift certificates from Best Buy. You must attend Take Flight Week Launch on Wednesday, August 20th at 3:30 to find out how to become eligible!

Everything kicks off on Wednesday, August 20th at 3:30PM in Palmer Auditorium with a welcome from President Williams and then entertaining speaker Will Pearson, founder of Mental Floss magazine. Check out Will's interview with Mo Rocca below. Later that evening there be a cookout  with ice cream and live music on Flowerhill Quad.

Thursday will be your chance to get acquainted with Student Life, meet faculty from your program of study, and then that evening we'll throw the legendary Back to the 90's mixer at the Student Retreat!

Finally on Friday we will have our chance to give back to the community when we visit Montevallo Elementary and take part in our Student Service Learning project.  Then that afternoon Student Affairs will host the Inspire program in Palmer Auditorium
