Transfer and Adult Student Orientation and Registration

Transfer students and adult freshmen entering Montevallo in the Fall Semester of 2008 have two opportunities to participate in Orientation and Registration.  Occurring on Monday, July 14th and Thursday, August 21st, this event will offer new students the opportunity to have an orientation to campus and to meet with academic advisors prior to registering for Fall Semester classes. 

Parents and family members of new students are encouraged to participate as well. Information sessions are offered specifically for parents and family members.  The Orientation/Registration session will begin at 10:00 a.m. and should conclude by 3:00 p.m.  Students living on campus and attending the Thursday, August 21st session may move into residence halls beginning at 8:00 a.m. that morning.

Beginning on May 1st, transfer students and adult freshmen may reserve a space at the session of their choice on-line.  For additional information regarding Orientation, contact the Office of Admissions by calling the number listed above or  via e-mail at (orientation@montevallo.edu).
