Adjustments

    A student who drops a course or who officially withdraws from enrollment at the University may receive an adjustment of some costs.  Drops and withdrawals will be adjusted at 100 percent through the last day on which classes may be added.  Thereafter, no adjustment will be made for a dropped class.  No adjustment will be made when a class is changed from credit to audit.

    After the last day on which classes may be added, an adjustment for withdrawals are as follows:

Fall and Spring Semesters Tuition Credit
Through the second week Through the fourth week Through the eighth week Ninth and subsequent weeks	90% 50% 25% 0%

Room and Board Credit
    Room and board are adjusted at the same rate as tuition through the 90 percent point.  Room and board will be adjusted as a pro rata basis in units of one week for withdrawals after that time.  A partial week is counted as one full week.

May Term Tuition Credit

Room and board credit
    Room and board are adjusted at the same rate as tuition through the 90 percent point.  Room and board will be adjusted as a pro rata basis in units of one week for withdrawals after that time.  A partial week is counted as one full week.

Administration fee
    For students who officially withdraw, a fee of the lesser of $100 or 5 percent of tuition, fees, room and board, and other assessed charges will be charged.

Refunds for drop or official withdrawal
    If the student eligible for a refund received financial aid, the refund check shall be made payable to the financial aid program.  The University and federal financial aid funds receive prorated shares of the refund.  If a balance remains after the financial aid programs have been repaid, this amount is refunded to the student at the campus address (for dropped courses) or at the permanent address (for official withdrawal).
