The Business and Cashiers Offices provide timely and accurate information in support of the learning environment of our students and the teaching, working and research endeavors of our faculty and staff within guidelines set forth by our state and national agencies, regulatory institutions and our Board of Trustees. The combined area is responsible for accounts payable, audit, cashiering, purchasing, student accounts, student, faculty and staff payroll, vending, copy services and a campus-wide system of budget control and accounting.

It is the mission of the Physical Plant to operate, maintain, and preserve campus facilities and property to enhance the educational mission of the University of Montevallo. The Physical Plant is responsible for the maintenance of University buildings and grounds, new construction and renovation, utilities, and mail service. These functions are carried out by a director, assistant director, and supervisors over functional areas of heating and cooling, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, custodial, grounds, and central warehouse.
