    The Office of University Advancement exists to serve the everyday needs of the UM family. Because of generous donations from alumni and friends like you, we are able to provide facility upgrades, scholarship assistance, tornado relief efforts, green initiatives, safety improvements and much, much more.     The Office of Alumni Affairs is here to assist the UMNAA in the fulfillment of its mission to “enhance the linkage between the alumni and the University, encourage members’ active participation in the Association and their commitment to the mission of the institution, build financial support for the Association and the University, and promote the University of Montevallo as a vital part of Alabama’s future.”

  • University Relations

    The University Relations Office is the central communications office responsible for the overall direction and oversight for the University’s strategic marketing and communications initiatives and tactical public-relations programs, designed to present the University to its multiple constituencies, internally and externally, fostering a climate of public and private support.

    This office has central responsibility for coordinating communications with the media, and is responsible, in conjunction with the UM Police Department, for the University’s Emergency Communication Plan.
