Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors |
The Application Process consists of a completed
application form including
description of research, bibliography, presentation/publication outlets, letters
of support, and budget if applicable.
Step 1. Student and
faculty mentor design a research project.
Projects using human or animal subjects
MUST be reviewed and approved by the
Human and Animal Subjects Research
Committee (HASRC) prior to submission to the office of URCE.
Step 2. Student prepares
research proposal by completing application. Student may request funds to support
research
project through the submission of a detailed budget.
Step 3. Approval of undergraduate
research projects rest with the Department Chairs. Students must include a
statement of approval on department letter head.
Step 4. Student
registers for UR 100, 200, 300, or 400
for 1-6 hours of credit and pays tuition
and applicable fees.
