The Alabama Department of Public Health has requested that all colleges and universities within the state require two doses of measles vaccine for students prior to enrollment in a program of study.  The University has adopted this public health requirement.  Please consult your physician regarding diagnosis of measles disease, evidence of measles immunity, or verification of two doses of measles vaccine.

The University also requires proof of a tuberculosis (TB) skin test or chest x-ray within the 12 months prior to enrollment.

All students are required to submit a record for Student Medical History Form which includes: medical emergency information, proof of measles immunity,  and insurance data.

 

Even though the Hepatitis B and the Meningitis Vaccines are not required they are strongly recommended.
