Cheerleaders

The purpose of the University of Montevallo Cheerleading squad is to promote school spirit by supporting teams during athletic competition; to lead the crowd in cheering for the teams and to provide entertainment to crowds during pep rallies, parades and breaks in athletic competition.  The UM cheerleading squad will be comprised of experienced, athletic cheerleaders who are responsible, hardworking, dedicated and enthusiastic.  They will work to uphold the goals and ideals of the University of Montevallo.  The goal for this squad is to represent the University of Montevallo and its athletic teams in a positive manner and to encourage the Montevallo community, UM student body, faculty and staff to support UM athletic teams.
