Meet the Staff

Deborah McCune, M.S.

Director

Deborah McCune has experience in vocational rehabilitation, evaluation/testing and postsecondary disability services.  She earned a B.A. in Psychology and a M.S. in Rehabilitation Services from Auburn University, and has worked with a wide range of disabilities, including LD, ADHD, medical, sensory, Asperger's, psychiatric, orthopedic, and traumatic brain injury.

Misty Altiparmak, M.Ed.

Assistant Director

Misty Altiparmak has experience in many areas of higher education including student affairs and academic advising. She earned a B.S. in Health Management from Southeast Missouri State University and a M.Ed. in Counseling from the University of Montevallo.

Jean Patterson

Office Manager

patterj@montevallo.edu

Jean provides secretarial and office support functions for Disability Support Services staff and for the ASPIRE/Student Support Services staff and students.
