Ordering transcripts Online

The Registrar's Office will not send an official transcript if you have a financial obligation to the University. It is your responsibility to notify the Registrar's Office at (205) 665-6040 or registrar@montevallo.edu after clearing your financial obligation.

Effective March 2013, the process for requesting a transcript has changed. 

Students currently enrolled at UM

·         To order an official transcript(s), login to the University of Montevallo student system:  https://forum.montevallo.edu/cp/home/displaylogin. 

·         Login to your forUM account

·         Click on the student tab

·         Click on Banner Self Service, Student, Student Records, Request Printed Transcript

·         Transcripts are processed Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

·         Transcripts are mailed within 24 hours of receiving the request

·         If you need assistance or having problems with your account please contact the Registrar’s Office at 205-665-6040

Alumni Students at UM

The University Registrar’s office has joined in partnership with SCRIP-SAFE®.  Transcripts may only be ordered using the online request system. 

·         Transcripts can be ordered 24/7 through Transcripts on Demand for a charge of $10.00 for an official transcript, $12.00 for an electronic transcript and $10.00 for an unofficial transcript to be faxed or mailed.  Online payment accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

·         Transcripts are processed Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

·         Transcripts are mailed within 24 hours of receiving the request

·         You will need to create a login before you can request transcripts.  You will use this same account to place future orders.

·         Federal law (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) requires that you provide a signed consent form when you initially setup your account.

·         If you attended prior to August 1987 your official academic transcript can only be mailed.
