The Physical Plant Division maintains the infrastructure and facilities so the teaching mission can be accomplished. The Physical Plant is proactive in controlling energy and utility costs to help provide a low-cost education for the students. 

The Physical Plant Division is responsible for the maintenance of university buildings and grounds, new construction and renovation, utilities, mail service, inventory and campus police. These functions are carried out with a director, assistant director, and eight supervisors over functional areas of heating and cooling, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, grounds, custodial and central warehouse. The chief of campus police also reports to the Director of Physical Plant. A total of eighty-three (83) employees serve in the Physical Plant Division.
