Each spring, the Montevallo Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi extends invitations to qualified juniors and seniors to join the University chapter. Those who join are welcomed into the chapter during an induction ceremony in April. Phi Kappa Phi medallions may be worn during commencement ceremonies, and initiates may purchase the medallions on-line at http://www.phikappaphi.org.  Commencement programs note the significance of the medallions. Phi Kappa Phi is the only honor society that is formally recognized in each commencement program.
