In order
to offer quality online learning experiences that comply
with accreditation policies regarding distance education;
the COE, in consultation with the Malone Center, has
developed the following guidelines and procedures. These were
designed to assist faculty in course development as well as provide quality control, consistency, and
a
means of trend and enrollment tracking. (Online Course Guidelines and
Procedures)
getting started
Please
follow the required steps below in order to acquire approval
for teaching online courses in the COE.

Complete the "Teaching
Online" training course. For further information or
to enroll in this course, please contact:

For COE faculty,
complete, sign, and submit an Online Course Approval
Form to your instructional supervisor for each
course.

Once your Online Course
Approval Form has been processed, you will need to
ensure your course is built according to the Online
Course Guidelines. |

Notify Ms. Leverton when the course is ready to be
reviewed for compliance (within the first two weeks
of the course). |

plan on teaching an online class during the summer or fall 2013
