Accreditation
Provides leadership in national, regional, and discipline-specific accreditation efforts.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Supports the
University’s accountability efforts with regard to the institution’s
strategic plan, state and federal reporting requirements, and accrediting
agencies
- Serves as the liaison
office to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
- Designs and conducts informational workshops and communications related
to accreditation for students, staff, faculty, and leaders
2011 Accreditation Status
The University of Montevallo is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
