Records Retention and Disposition
The University of Montevallo is
required to maintain and dispose of records according to the Code of
Alabama 1975, Sections 36-12-2, 36-12-4, and 41-5-23. The
links below provide UM employees with guidelines under which records
should be properly retained and/or disposed.
The Alabama Records Retention Schedule provides standard retention and archival review requirements for records common to all state agencies.
