What to Expect During Recruitment

 

Open house: This night allows you to get a glance at each sorority hall and meet the members. Just be yourself, relax, and smile!
What to wear: Sun dress, skirt, dressy pants, nice top (First Picture, Far Left)

Philanthropy Night: This night is designed to inform you about each sorority and the service opportunities that are available. Each sorority will tell you about their individual philanthropy and may invite you to help with the service project. Keep an open mind and enjoy yourself!
What to wear: Recruitment t-shirt and pants or skirt of your choice. (Second Picture)

Theme Night: During Theme night each sorority will have a skit to present as well as songs. During this time you will be able to get to know the members better and learn more about the sorority.
What to wear: Nice jeans, pants or skirt, nice top (Third Picture)

Sisterhood Night: Candlelight, songs, and an entirely different look at the special bonds within the sororities will accentuate this party. This night is extremely serious. Pref is focused on each sorority's expression of fraternal ideals and sisterly values. By this night you should have an idea of which sorority you may want to join.
What to wear: Dressiest night of Recruitment; Dress- something for a wedding or Sunday clothes. (Fourth Picture, Far Right)

Bid Day: This is the conclusion of Recruitment. You may receive an invitation to pledge a sorority. Bid day is a fun, entertaining time for new members and sorority sisters.
What to wear: Shorts and recruitment t-shirt.
