Founded at Montevallo in 1971, the Tau Kappa
Chapter of the Chi Omega Fraternity is a
sisterhood that lasts a lifetime. Rich in
history and tradition, our mission is to offer
a sisterhood
that provides a network of friends and lifelong
development for all of its members. Chi
Omega is the largest women’s fraternal
organization in the world with over 300,000
initiates and 170 collegiate chapters.
Here at
Montevallo, Chi Omega offers a home and a place
to make your mark on the world. We pride
ourselves in being among the best in scholarship
of all other Greek organizations and holding numerous leadership positions on campus in a variety of
organizations. Membership in Chi Omega is
an honor and a privilege. We invite you to connect with us and experience all that Chi
Omega has to offer.
