When you join the Greek community at UM you are opening up an entire range of leadership possibilities that will help you prepare for your professional career. There are also countless leadership positions in the Greek community alone. Greek members allows you to explore your dreams and maximize your potential. Our dedication to leadership is not just on paper. It is making a difference at UM and a sure way to guarantee your chance for success!

Fraternities and sororities are essentially self-governing organizations that provide members with countless opportunities to gain leadership experience.  Serving as an officer on the Executive Board or on a committee, develops leadership skills in the areas of self-responsibility, decision making, and communication.   

A leader in the Greek community will develop such skills as goal setting, delegating responsibilities, working with a group, planning activities, solving problems, time management and focused decision making. 

 

 

At UM the  past 17 out of 19 Student Government Presidents have been Greek.
