MISSION

The Interfraternity Council stands for education, commitment, and respect; an all-embracing, diverse, and interconnected organization within the  tradition at the University of Montevallo.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

With an assertive disposition, the Interfraternity Council provides an organizational foundation to push back the frontier of disunion throughout the Greek system and the University. By combining vision with action, and expounding upon the ideals of education, commitment, and respect, the Interfraternity Council seeks to become an accessible and a visible champion of change.

In coalition with the University administration, other student organizations, and the greater campus community, the Interfraternity Council serves as a vehicle for campus-wide integration at many levels. An entity of communication, the Interfraternity Council serves to resonate the aims of Fraternities upon the University, and in return, the aims of the University upon Fraternities.

The Interfraternity Council—all-embracing, an organization of campus outreach through education, commitment, and respect; diverse in vision, interconnected in action, existing as a leader among leaders. Sharing with the University in learning, leadership, and service, the Interfraternity Council works to increase the vitality and impact of the Greek system, thereby complementing and enhancing the University experience.
